SAN PEDRO PLANT

Located in the municipality of Mostazal, this is the birthplace of PROEX, on the site where the rendering plant of the poultry company La Cartuja once operated.
It was from this first plant that the company's development began, eventually becoming a national benchmark in the production of animal-based meals, oils, and fats.
In 2003, PROEX installed its first continuous processing line imported from Spain at this facility, becoming a pioneer in Chile and strengthening its leadership in the protein and fat recovery industry.

SANTA TERESA PLANT
In 2008, as part of its sustained growth, PROEX incorporated a second continuous processing line imported from Brazil.
This new technology was installed at the Santa Teresa Plant, also located in the municipality of Mostazal.
This facility expanded the company's production capacity and strengthened its industrial processes with modern, efficient technology focused on quality.

SAN PABLO PLANT

Subsequently, PROEX added a third production plant called San Pablo, consolidating its industrial presence in the Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins Region.
With this expansion, the company now occupies an approximate area of fifteen hectares, strengthening its capacity for processing, collection, and production of animal-based proteins and fats.
ECOFOOD MAULE PLANT

In 2021, PROEX incorporated the ECOFOOD plant, located in the Maule Region, into its operations, marking a new milestone in the company's growth and territorial expansion.
This integration strengthened PROEX's coverage across the central-southern region of the country, optimizing its collection, production, and meat by-product processing systems. Thanks to this facility, the company enhanced its logistics capabilities and provides a more efficient service to its customers in southern Chile.
ECOFOOD became part of PROEX's production model under the same principles of quality, traceability, technology, circular economy, and environmental commitment, contributing to the transformation of animal by-products into high-value nutritional raw materials.
With this plant, PROEX reinforced its national leadership in the rendering industry and reaffirmed its commitment to a more efficient, responsible, and sustainable production model.
